A fireballl is a high performance, double handed scow. It has a mainsail, a fock (this is the small sail on the front of the boat) and a spinakker (its a big sail for backwind, its look like a giant bubble). The steerer is steering the boat and handling the mainsail, and teh crew is handling the fock and the spinakker. This boat has special thing, that the effeciency doesn't depend on the strength of the crew but the adjusting of the sails and to put the right equipment on the boat for the right wind strength. In the fireball only the crew is trapezeing, the steerer is just hiking. This boat is much more practical then any other double handed dinghys from many angles: its much liter so it is cartoppable, and its also much much cheaper e.g.:the most popular double handed dinghy 420 class and a new 420 boat is coasts minimum 10000 euro and a new fireball coasts maximum 2000 euro and i think its also better and faster.
